Our Philosophy

Kowhaiwhai
The Manākitanga within this design represents the mountains, the land and the sea connections we have being situated in Tāhunanui. It connects us with land and the community surrounding us. Manākitanga is about compassion. The mountains and waves in the design reflect this tikanga.
This kowhaiwhai was designed and gifted to Tāhunanui Kindergarten by kaiako Tania Gallop.
